Thomas Ryan

Funeral service for Thomas Ryan of Postville were held at St. Bridget's Catholic church, Postville at 11:00 a.m. December 6. The Rev. A. A. McAvoy officiated.

Thomas Ryan was born July 9, 1893 to James and Johanna (Gallagher) Ryan and resided in Ludlow Township throughout his life. He died December 3 at Community Memorial Hospital in Postville. He was a farmer until retiring in recent years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, six sisters and five brothers.

Survivors include: three nephews, James F. Drew, Waukon; James A. Ryan, Lansing and Walter Drew, Charles City; one niece, Mrs. Thomas Clark, Knoxville.

Burial was in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Waukon.
