Services Held For Mrs. H. Reinhardt

Services were held Monday, April 30 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Postville, for Mrs. Harry Reinhardt, who died April 26 at the Good Samaritan Center, Postville. The Rev. Norman Ullestad officiated.

Martha Sophia Duwe Reinhardt, the daughter of Henry Duwe and Mary Dannenbring Duwe, was born March 25, 1884 in Guttenberg, Iowa. She was baptized June 8, 1884 in the Lutheran Church, Guttenberg and was confirmed in St. Paul Lutheran Church, Postville.

On November 21, 1901 she was married to Harry Reinhardt of Postville and to this union three daughters were born. The couple farmed south of Postville until their retirement when they moved to Postville in 1929. She moved to the Good Samaritan Center in 1968, being one of the first residents.

Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband and three brothers, Herman, Joe and Walter and a sister Anna, Mrs. Will Devas.

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Arbie (Hattie) Rose, Postville; Mrs. Elmer (Amanda) B. Schultz, Castalia and Mrs. Paul (Alma) Willman, Frankville; five grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one great-grandchild and her sister Mrs. Emma Miller of Monona.

Burial was in the Postville Cemetery.
