JULIUS A. KROUSIE

Funeral services were held December 5, at the Schutte Funeral Home for Julius A. Krousie, who passed away at Community Memorial Hospital on December 2. Gary Yagge officiated at the rites; burial was in the Postville cemetery.

Julius A. Krousie was born March 17, 1872 in Allamakee county, the son of Gotlieb Krousie and Julie Shellschmidt Krousie. He died December 2, 1967.

He was married October 2, 1902 to Julia Swenson. His wife preceded him in death on December 22, 1957.

Surviving are five children: Allen at home, Violet (Mrs. Guy Barr) of Postville, Earl of New York, Helen (Mrs. Otto Rovang) of Decorah, Eunice (Mrs. Art Gelo) of Waukon, and Robert of Monona. Two children, John and Budd, preceded him in death.
