RIDGE MARTIN

Rockland, Wis. - Ridge W. Martin, 66, Rockland; died at the nursing home in West Salem, Monday morning, Jan. 11, following a long illness.

He was born April 20, 1898, in Dorchester, Iowa. He farmed in Iowa before moving to Rockland and his last occupation before his illness was a school bus operator for the Rockland School area.

He is survived by his widow, Carrie; one son, Chester, Dorchester, Iowa; two daughters, Mrs. Vernel (Norma) Dunnum, Wilton, Wis., and Mrs. Roland (Phyllis) Young, Rockland; six grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Ben Bostad, Chicago, Ill., Mrs. James Hanson, Decorah, Iowa, and Mrs. William Shefelbine, Sparta; one brother, Edward Martin, Waukon, Iowa.

Services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Rockland Methodist Church with Rev. C. J. Auerbach officiating. Burial will be in Rockland Cemetery.

Friends may call at Fossum Funeral Home in Bangor Tuesday evening and at the church from 12:30-p.m. Wednesday.
