Mrs. Anna M. Buckendahl

Mrs. Anna M. Buckendahl, 87, formerly of 805 State St., died Monday, June 23, in a local hospital.

She was born May 27, 1888, in Dorchester, Iowa.

She was employed at the LaCrosse Rubber Mills prior to her retirement.

She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Elmer (Maxine) Troendle of Waukon, Iowa; a son, Merlin Meyer of West Union, Iowa; two sisters, Mrs. Clarence (Mary) Bullman of Waukon, and Mrs. Albert (Lizzie) Meyer of New Albin, Iowa; a brother, Frank Spiegler of Waukon; 11 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

She was proceded in death by her husband and two sons.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in St. John's Reformed United Church of Christ, Rev. Calvin Hay officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Sletten-McKee-Hanson Funeral Home tonight from 7 to 9 p.m., and at the church Wednesday from 1 p.m. until the service.
