Fritz Heins died Monday evening at the age of 54 years, his death being due to pneumonia.

~Jan 4, 1901 was on a Friday, so the prior Monday & date of death would have been December 31, 1900 although 'Woodmansee' gives date of death as December 30, 1900. He is buried in the Postville cemetery.

~His wife was Anna (nee Schultz)
