"O'Brien Funeral Tuesday, Grocer Dies after Twenty-five years Residence in Minneapolis."
"The funeral of W.J. O'Brien, who died yesterday at his home, 2719 Nicollet avenue, will take place tomorrow at 9a.m. at St. Stevens's Church. Clinton avenue and twenty-second street. Mr.O'Brien was engaged in the grocery business in Minneapolis for twenty-five years. He was a charter member of Lincoln court, C.O.F.

Surviving besides his wife and four children are two brothers, Thomas F. O'Brien and John O'Brien, Wisconsin and four sisters, Mrs. H.J. Kohl and Mrs. J.P. Fitzpatrick, both of Minneapolis, Mrs William Murphy, Anoka and Sister Mary of St. Brenard, Vancouver. B.C.

2 February 1914 in the Minneapolis Journal -

"Lincoln Court Foresters will attend in a body from the house. All members requested to be at the house at 8:30 sharpe and will march to the church. John V. Kranz, recording secretary,
Lincoln Court."

Note: William was born 22 September in Waukon, Allamakee County, Iowa and died at the young age of 53 - Son of Michael and Mary O'Brien of French Creek township
