Rites Were Held For Mrs. Eva White

Funeral services for Mrs. Eva White, formerly of Postville, were held Tuesday, Feb, 6, at 11:00 a.m. at the United Methodist Church in Cresco. Mrs. White was the grandmother of Mrs. Gerald Guyer, Postville.

Mrs. White was born March 30, 1890 at Carbon, Iowa to Mr. and Mrs. George Hardisty and died Saturday, Feb. 3 at the Howard County Hospital.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred; two sons, Howard and Russell; her parents and ten brothers and sisters.

Survivors include two sons, Harold and Kenneth, Cresco; one daughter, Mrs. Zeno (Maxine) Kappes, Cresco; 22 grandchildren; 44 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.

Burial was in the Oak Lawn Cemetery. Bradley-Lindstrom Funeral Home made the arrangements.
