Albert J. Simon. a well known resident of Waukon passed away Monday morning. He was 70 years old. Albert Simon was born August 24, 1867 in Janesville, Wisconsin, a son of Christime and Michael Simon. When he was a child the famly moved to Lawler, Iowa where he lived until 1897. Mr. Simon was twice married. His first wife was Ann Clapham of Lawler, who passed away many years ago. Three children were born to this union. On June 27, 1899 he was married to Mary Moran of Monona. Two children were born to the union. Besides his wife he leaves to mourn his death the following children: G. C. Simon,of Champaign, Illinois, Mrs C. E. Stiehl and Mrs. W. E. Fitzgerald of Milwaukee Wisconsin, Mrs. J. J. Davis and L. F. Simon of Waukon.
