Manfurd S. Burroughs, 84, died Tuesday, Jan. 12, 1999, in Sunrise Hill Care Center, Traer, after an extended illness.

Services: 1 p.m. Friday, United Methodist Church, by the Rev. Marshall Monthei. Burial: Buckingham Cemetery, Traer. Friends may call today from 3 to 8 p.m. at Overton Funeral Home, Traer, where family will be present from 5 to 7 p.m.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy; and two sons, Paul of Traer and Ronald of Vinton.
