"SERVICES HELD FOR EDNA M. LARSON
Edna M. Larson, 77, died Wednesday, June 25, at the Good Samaritan Center in Waukon. Services were held Friday, June 27 at 10:30 a.m. at St. John's Lutheran church in Waukon with the Rev. Henry Heinbuch officiating.
"She was born June 12, 1909 to Clark and Nellie Ward Manning. She attended Winneshiek county schools and Cedar Rapids Roosevelt. May 21, 1938 she married Theodore Larson in Caledonia, MN. He died March 22, 1985. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran church where she was very active i many church activities and president of Ladis Aid.
"Survivors include a son Robert of Manchester and two grandchildren.
"She was preceded in death by her husband, three brothers, Rex, Vernon and Ben, and a sister Olive.
"Burial was in Oakland Cemetery with Martin's funeral home in charge of arrangements.
"Casket bearers were Timothy KNox, Steve Knox, Jerry KNox, Robert J. Stock, Gary Nolting and Carlton Larsen."
