Second Castalia Boy is Dead from Burns

Postville – Randy Koenig, 10, of rural Castalia died in a hospital here Friday, the second victim of a gas service station fire and explosion at Castalia last July 11. His cousin, Leon Koenig, 10, was killed in the blast.
Authorities said the boys were playing in the basement of the Albright service station when gas fumes were ignited, apparently from cigarettes.
Randy was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Merlyn Koenig. Services will be at 1:30 Monday in the Castalia EUB church.
