Lydia Deters, 92, of Eitzen, Minn., died Thursday, July 18, 1985, in St. Francis Medical Center, La Crosse, Wis.

She was born Oct. 19, 1892, in Allamakee County, Ia., to Henry and Caroline (Elfring) Welper.

She married Roy Deters on March 28, 1928, in Eitzen.

She was a housewife and a member of the women's fellowship of St. Luke's United Church of Christ, Eitzen.

Survivors are her husband; a daughter, Jan Newman of Mabel, Minn.; four grandchildren and a great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters.

Services will be Sunday at 2 p.m. in St. Luke's United Church of Christ, Eitzen. The Rev. Lloyd Fried will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
