Burial was at Oakland Cemetery, Waukon.

Eaton Cote' was born April 18, 1929 in Waukon, the son of Paul Dennis and Ruth (Eaton) Cote'. He was baptized and confirmed at St. Paul's United Methodist Church, graduated from Waukon High School in 1947 and attended the University of Iowa and graduated from Bradley University in 1951.

September 20, 1950 he married Barbara Ann Hausman at St. Paul's United Methodist Church. "If you can make money for some one else, you can make it for yourself." "Live where you want to live, do what you want to do, and if you can make money at it, it's a bonus."
