Obituary of Claude Weaver

CLAUDE B. WEAVER

1909--1980

Mason City,Iowa---Claude B. Weaver,70 of Thompson,Ill. and formerly of Mason City, died Wednesday(January 16, 1980) in a Clinton Hospital.

Funeral services will be at 10:A.M. Saturday at the Paterson-James-Sellergren Funeral Chapel,Mason City,with burial in Pleasant View Cemetery,Castalia.Rev.La Vern R. Hanson of Trinity Lutheran Church,Mason City will officiate.

Visitation will be at the funeral home until time of service.

A Veteran of World War II and the Korean War,Mr Weaver was a member of the Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen and employed by the Chicago and Northwestern Transportation Company,at Clinton. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Elks, Eagles and Moose.

Survivors include two daughters: Mrs. Ben (Marlys) Kramer, Mason City, and Mrs. Stanley (Jane) Kotz, Mason City, a son Leland (Dick), Manley: 10 grandchildren,eight great grandchildren: a sister Mrs. William (Alyce) Maxwell, Mason City and three brothers, Harold of Rockwell and Everett and Lyle, both of Mason City,Iowa.
