Louise Henriette Charlotte Koenig Kaiser died at the age of 60 years, one month and 12 days on the 6th day of April, 1930, at 4:30 p.m., at her home in Monona, Iowa. Mrs. Kaiser was the child of Wilhelm Koenig and Charlotte Meyer and was born February 25, 1870, in Lever Soender, Province Westphalia, Germany. Here she was baptized in the same year. March 13, 1883, she was confirmed in the Lutheran church of Postville, Iowa. Nine years later she was married to Charley Kaiser. With her departure the Ladies' Aid Society of St. Paul's E. L. congregation has lost one of its charter members, which she served in her quiet and willing way since the year 1906. The deceased leaves to mourn her departure the husband, Charley Kaiser; two sons, Alvin and Walter of Monona; one daughter, Cornelia; three brothers and their families, Louis, William and Fritz Koenig, Castalia; four sisters and their families, Mrs. Minnie Poesch, Mrs. Mary Schroeder, Mrs. Rosine Ruckdaschel, all of Postville; and Mrs. Lena Christofferson of Louisa.
