Brooke Marie Barr, 28, of Cave Springs, Ark., died Saturday, Feb. 5, 2005, at Northwest Medical Center in Bentonville, Ark.

She was born May 26, 1976, in Postville, Iowa, to Brent Allen and Juanita Severson Barr. She was a nurse aid at the Brighton House Nursing Home in Rogers, Ark., and attended the Cave Springs Baptist Church.

She is survived by a son, Miles Kenneth Kent of Wills Point, Texas; two daughters, Dakota Devin Hickman and Amber Nicole Hickman, both of Gentry, Ark.; parents, Brent and Nita Barr of Cave Springs; her birth mother, Linda Fletcher and her husband, Ron Fletcher; a brother, Lucas Barr of Portland, Ore.; a sister, Melissa Barr of Cave Springs; grandparents, Armin and Joetta Ross of Topeka, Kan.; and a grandmother, Lorraine Severson of Waukon, Iowa.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 8, at Martin Brothers Funeral Home in Waukon, Iowa. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 9, at Oakland Cemetery in Waukon, Iowa. Local arrangements are by Benton County Funeral Home in Rogers.
