KILLED BY LIGHTENING
The Mirror notes that during the storm last Thursday afternoon, Chas. JOHNSON, employed on the farm of Thos. FITZGERALD in Taylor township, was killed by lightening, as was also the team of horses he was using. Johnson was a nephew of Mr. SMEBRAKEN and had come from Norway three years ago. He was plowing corn and went under a tree during the storm. Failing to reach the house for supper, Mr. Fitzgerald went out to look for him and found the man and team dead, the horses dropping in the harness as naturally as though asleep.
