Mrs. Mary BATIN, of New Albin, died Thursday afternoon, October 3rd, after a lingering illness, aged 95 years. She is survived by six of eleven children. She became a member of the Methodist Church when eighteen years of age. Her remains were interred Saturday in the German Methodist cemetery on May's Prairie ridge beside her husband, who died many years ago. Mrs. Batin was one of the earliest settlers of this county.
