Death of Mrs. Fred Stock of Ludlow.
Today the remains of Mrs. Caroline Stock, wife of Frederick Stock of Ludlow township, are conveyed to their last resting place in the churchyard of the German Presbyterian church, the funeral occurring from that church at 12 o'clock, noon.

Mrs. Stock was born in Germany in 1839 and came to Allamakee county in 1859. Their first home was east of Waukon, but after some years they removed to Ludlow township.

Mrs. Stock was an invalid and confined to her home for many years, suffering from a nervous ailment, the result of a paralytic stroke some eleven years ago. A very sudden and severe attack of her malady caused her death Sunday night. She was in her 64th year.

She is survived by her husband and all of her fourteen children, namely, John, Mrs. F. Krueger, Mrs. F. Grotegut, Mrs. A. Hermeier, Mrs. F. Kugel, Mrs. Charles Pausch, Mrs. Wm. Dravis of Emmett county, Mrs. Henry Pausch, Frederick Jr., William, Sarah, Lydia, Charles and Edward. Mrs. Stock was a dutiful wife and mother and an estimable neighbor and friend to all.
