John C. Johnson, Lafayette pioneer, died Nov. 23rd, aged 74 years. His widow, sons Otto, Leonard and Carl, and daughters, Mrs. O. Colbornson, West Hope, N.D.; Mrs. Otto Redo, Albert Lea; and Josephine at home, survive.

**Note** Find A Grave documents John's birth as 10/13/1836 in Norway and death on 11/29/1910. He is buried in Old East Paint Creek Cemetery in Waterville.
