Mrs. Mary O'Donnell, wife of T.O. O' Donnell, after an illness of seven weeks duration, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. N. Fish, at the advanced age of eighty years. She bore her illness with great patience and fortitude and calmly passed away at five o'clock Tuesday evening. She made many friends during her sojourn here. Mr. and Mrs. O'Donnell were among the first settlers in the county, coming to Iowa township in 1862 from Freeport, Illinois. Deceased leaves a husband and four children to mourn the loss of a kind wife and a loving mother. The funeral services were held at St. Joseph's church in this city Thursday, Rev. Father Norton of Lycurgus officiating. Remains were interred in the Hurley cemetery.
