DIED - In this city on the 26th inst., of typhoid fever, Philip Bieber, Jr., aged 24 years and seven months.

Thus has passed from among us one of our most honorable, upright and promising young business men. He had been in partnership about a year and a half with Mr. F. Schiek, and during that time has won the highest esteem, not only of his partner, but those with whom he was brought into business intercourse.

He was a self made man, and through his own, personal [illegible] gained a business knowledge which would have soon won for him an enviable prominence among our citizens. But Death [illegible] unrelenting and no respector of persons, and he has thus cut off in the vigor and strength of manhood an esteemed friend and fond father's pride. Peace to his ashes.
