DIED - In this city, on Thursday evening, March 4th, of Lung Fever, Mrs. T. Daniels, wife of Henry Daniels, in the 47th year of her age.

The funeral took place on Sunday last from the Congregational Church, of which the deceased was a member. The church was densely crowded by mourning citizens who gathered to pay their last sad respects to their departed, beloved friend.

Mrs. Daniels had been in ill health for several years past, and the disease with which she was afflicted, she well knew, must sooner or later, take her away from the scenes of earth.

A happier death-bed scene was never witnessed in Lansing. She was perfectly calm and reconciled almost to the very last moments of her life, and she conversed freely and cheerfully of the christian's joys awaiting her in that brighter and better land.

She called her children around her and gave them such advice as only a pure, devoted and faithful dying mother can give to those who will never see her face again until they too are bidden by their Maker to go hence.
