Emma Sophia was the name given the infant born to Mr. and Mrs. Jno. O. Hunsted [sic] of Taylor township on the 4th of March and which fourteen days later returned to the God who gave it.
Burial took place on the 23rd, four little boys acting as pall bearers. The little flower was cloothed in a white silk shroud, the work of a loving mother's hands, and a white casket had been provided.
"The Lord giveth, and the Lord taketh away, blessed be the name of the Lord."
