William Ferring
Lansing, Ia.-- Funeral Services for William Ferring, 36, will be held Thursday morning at Immaculate Conception church with the Rev. G.L. Haxmeier officiating. Mr. Ferring died in a La Crosse hospital following an accident in which he was severely injured.

A son of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Ferring, he was born in Center township Nov. 25, 1901. He was schooled in the rural and Immaculate Conception schools. His father died 11 years ago and the son had since managed the home farm.

He is survived by his mother, seven sisters, Mrs. Elsie Haas, Mrs. Marie Troendle, Mrs. Veronica Conway, Mrs. Florence Buckman of La Crosse, Miss Clara and Melinda, the latter a nun, and one brother Leo. Me Ferring was affilisted with the Knights of Columbus.

Waukon -- William Ferring, 36, died of injuries Tuesday morning at a La Crosse hospital. While operating a circle saw at his farm home in Center township, the plank he was sawing doubled back and struck him in the lower abdomen. An operstion was performed, but peritonotis developed. A son of Mrs. Peter Ferring, he was born on the farm where the accident occured. He never married.
