Jack Boltz, age 64, of Lansing died Saturday, Aug. 13, 2005 at his home in Lansing.

Friends may call Wednesday, Aug. 17 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Thornburg Hanson Funeral Home in Lansing. A Remembrance Service will follow at the funeral home at 7 p.m.

Jack was born in Lansing April 2, 1941 to Walter and Ada (Van Brocklin) Boltz. Early in his life he had farmed in the Sumner area. Most recently, before retiring, he was a Supervisor at Northern Engraving. He loved to hunt and fish and spend time with his children and grandchildren.

Jack is survived by his wife, Jan, of Lansing; six children, Matt (Angie) of Tallahassee, FL, Ed (Diane) of Sumner, Audrey of Cedar Rapids, Rachel of Waukon, Sally (Roy) of Waukon, and Haley of Lansing; 15 grandchildren; and four siblings, Shirley of Jesup, Jim (Linda) of Mobile, AL, Dave (Debbie) of Mobile, AL, and Vicki (Randy) of Sunflower, AL.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
