DIED. At her home in this city, on Monday, the 13th inst., of consumption, Helen, wife of John M. Hancock; aged 42 years.

Mrs. Hancock was one of the old settlers of Lansing, and was a most estimable lady. For a year she suffered with the dread malady which caused her death, but she bore her affliction with Christian fortitude.

She leaves a husband and son, and a large circle of friends to mourn her death.
