With the demise of the old year went out the lamp of life for "Grandmother Genaw," an aged lady who has off and on made her home in this city but was at the time living with her son, P. Genaw, of Lycurgus.

Death to her was a happy relief, as she was very old and childish, and latterly, we understand, of unsound mind.
