Rex Medberry

Rex Medberry, 79, Brooksville, FL, died June 21 at the Brooksville Manor Nursing Home in Brooksville. He was a former resident of Postville.

Medberry was born October 5, 1899, the son of Elmer and Rosetta (Rothlisberger) Medberry. He married Eva Lehman August 20, 1924 and to this union two sons were born. He was a farmer and carpenter, and lived in Elgin and Postville until 1960 when he and his wife moved to Brooksville. He was a charter member of Christ Lutheran Church in Brooksville.

He is survived by: his wife, Eva; one son, Gene; his daughter-in-law, Gladys; one sister, Lena Frieden; one brother, Walter; and many other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Earl and one brother, Aden.

Funeral services were held Saturday, June 23 at Christ Lutheran Church in Brooksville. The Rev. William Friederich officiated. Burial was in the Elgin Cemetery, Elgin.
