Funeral services for Mrs. John Woodmansee, 89, who spent the greater part of her life in the county were conducted Saturday afternoon at Martin Bros. chapel, by the Rev.L.D. Eaton with burial in the Rossville Cemetery. She was born in Ohio. Following the death of her husband some years ago she lived alone at Rossville, until nine weeks ago when she fell and broke her hip. She never recovered from the injuries and a niece had cared for her.

Transcriber's Notes: Find a Grave shows she was born 12-25-1850 and died 4-4-1940. Myra & John's marriage record (ancestry.com database) gives her maiden name as Hoard, her father: Simon Hoard, mother: Sarah A. Woodworth. The marriage was her 2nd (his also), the first being to unkn. Roberts.
