Syver, a little six year old son of Mr. and Mrs. O. Vold, has for some time had a tumor on his neck, which it seemed necessary to remove, which operation took place on the 16th by two surgeons. The child being unable to stand the operation, died before the same was completed.

The remains were buried on Sunday the 19th, at the East Paint Creek cemetery, accompanied by a large number of sympathizing friends of the bereaved family.
