On the 6th inst. at her residence in Waukon, of consumption, Mrs. Narcissa P. Barnard. Born April 23, 1833, married May 27th, 1857. Aged 34 years 11 months and 17 days.

The deceased was a child, a dutiful daughter, a kind sister; and in later life a loving and affectionate wife. Never of a strong constitution, the last few months of her existence were of lingering sickness and pain. She died in the full assurance of a blessed immortality, having been a Christian from her early years.
