On July 21, 1924, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. M.J. Breen, at Crystal Lake, Ills., occurred the death of Mrs. John W. Toole. She will be remembered by many old friends and acquaintances here who will regret to learn of her passing.

Deceased was born in Cumberland, Md., eighty-two years ago and came to Harpers Ferry with her mother, the late Mrs. Sarah Brophy, one of our pioneer settlers, where she spent her girlhood days.

She is survived by her daughters, Mrs. M.J. Breen and Miss Sallie Toole. Burial was in Mount Carmel cemetery, Chicago, beside her husband who preceded her in death seven years ago.

Her niece, Mrs. James M. Berry, of Marquette, attended the funeral in Crystal Lake, Ills.
