Waukon - Dr. Clarke W. Rominger, 81, who practiced medicine here more than 50 years, died Sunday night. He had been in failing health for several years.

Born at West Salem, Ill., Dr. Rominger attended Dixon (Ill.) college and was graduated from the Chicago College of Medicine and Surgery in 1907. He was associated with the Chicago health department for four years and then came to Waukon in 1912. He was a member of the Iowa State Medical Assn.

Surviving are his wife, the former Florence Lang, to whom he was married in Chicago in 1910; two sons, Dr. Clarke R. Rominger, who has been practicing with his father here, and John, of Silver Springs, Md.; a daughter, Dr. Ruth Rominger of Moline; four grandchildren and a brother, Dr. Charles Rominger of Bethlehem, Pa.

Services Wednesday at 2, Presbyterian church.
