Waukon, Ia., March 8 - [funeral services were held] --day afternoon at the Waterville Lutheran church for Mrs. Elizabeth Hendrickson, pioneer resident of Paint Creek township, who died Friday afternoon at the home of her son, Henry A. Hendrickson, a few miles north of Waterville. Services were conducted by the Rev. R.H. Wareberg and burial was made in the family lot in the Waterville cemetery.
Mrs. Hendrickson, whose maiden name was Miss Elizabeth Seim, was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lars Seim. She was born in Norway almost 90 years ago and had resided in Paint Creek township for over 50 years.
After her marriage to Aslag Hendrickson they made their home on the Hendrickson farm, where she lived all these years. Her husband died August 16, 1912.
They were the parents of nine children, the following of whom survive: Mrs. Lena Glynn and Miss Bertha, Waukon; Anton and Elmer Hendrickson, Canton, S.D.; Hervey A. and Albert, Waterville, Ia. She is also survived by a number of grand children.
