—The remains of Mrs. Howard Hersey were brought home to Waukon, from Grinnell, and buried on the 3d inst. She was an old resident and quite widely known.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows this was Frances and that she was born Dec. 18, 1822 and died Aug. 31, 1895. She is buried in Oakland Cemetery.
