Clinton J. Crane
Clinton James Crane, 65, who worked for the Anaconda Co. for many years, died of cancer Saturday (7-25-1992) in a local hospital.(Great Falls, MT)

Visitation will be Monday afternoon and evening at Croxgord and Sons Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Croxford and Sons Funeral Home. burial will be at Pleasant View Cemetery in Belt.

Crane was born April 7, 1927, in Belt. He graduated from Belt High School in 1951. During the Korean War years he served with the U.S. Army.

In July (4) 1964, He married Kathy Scott in Deer Lodge. They were later divorced, In August 1982, he married Marian Beardmore in New Albin, Iowa.
Crane worked on ranches as a young man, then on paper mills in Missoula. For many years he worked for the Anaconda Co. in Butte, retiring in 1983. He moved to Great Falls in 1988.

He enjoyed camping, hiking, and outdoor activities.

He is survived by his wife Marian of Great Falls; two daughters, Stacey Crane and Lynelle Crane, both of Butte; two sons, Jeffrey Crane and Ronald Crane, both of Butte; two stepsons, Thomas Crane of New Albin, Iowa, and David Crane of Whitefish; his mother, Verna E. Crane of Helena; two brothers, Robert Crane of Helena and Art Crane of Deer lodge; five grandchildren and three step-grandchildren.
