Mr. Clark, of Castalia, died at the residence of his daughter, Mrs. W. S. Webster, in Postville, on Sunday, Jan. 12th, of paralysis. Deceased was aged 83 years and one week. Funeral services were held from the residence on Wednesday, Rev. Wm. Lease officiating. The remains were taken to Castalia for interment.

An obit in Postville Review, Sat., 1 Feb. 1890 edition of the paper gives Mr. Clark's given name as Andrew, and relates the fact that he had resided on a farm near Castalia for more than 30 years
