Church, Ia., Dec. 7 - Funeral services for Mrs. Bertha Berg were held from the family home to the Faegere Prairie church on Friday at 2 o'clock, Rev. Wareberg officiating and with interment in the Faegere Prairie cemetery.

The deceased was born in Odness, Norway, June 29, 1839, coming to America in 1870. she first lived on a farm in Paint Creek township and later moved to the farm home where her death occurred and where he husband died 17 years ago.

She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. John Johnson; two sons,, Gilbert and Chris, all of this locality; one daughter preceding her in death.
