Harold J. Schwartzhoff, 91, of 405 34th St. SE, died Monday, Dec. 11, 1995, in Living Center West following an illness. Service: 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, by the Revs. Karl Glovik and James Duster. Burial: Mount Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. today at Stewart Funeral Home, where there will be a rosary at 6 and prayer service at 8:15 p.m.

Survivors include his wife, Mary; two sons, Gerald J. of Cedar Rapids and James P. and wife Mary Lou of Kettering, Ohio; three daughters, E. Gary Wilson and husband John, Molly S. Bredl and husband Jack and Kathryn L. Gregor-Lipscomb and husband Darryl, all of Cedar Rapids; a brother Greg of Milwaukee; two sisters, Ann Helming of Cedar Rapids and Helen Mooney of Harpers Ferry; 22 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.

Born April 17, 1904, to Herman and Molly Danaher Schwartzhoff, he married Mary Regan on Dec. 26, 1932, in Waukon. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and NARVRE.

Harold was a kind and Gentle man. He did good things for so many during his life and was such fun to be with. Thanks Harold, it was a wonderful time.
