The remains of Christian Larson Kongskoven were buried at the Big Canon church on the 10th inst. Mr. Larson was one of the oldest settlers of Hanover township, Allamakee county. He has for many years been suffering from asthma. His eyesight has been very poor and at times he has been very hard of hearing. He was born in Lyngbygh, Norway, on the 23d day of August, 1817, hence was 81 years old.
