—Frank Rupp, another soldier of Co. I, 49th Iowa, is dead and was buried last Sunday. Deceased may be known to some persons in this county, as he was a member of one of J. G. Ratcliffe’s bridge building gangs before he went to the war.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he was born March 13, 1873 and died Sept 15, 1898. He is buried in Oakland Cemetery.
