Pfc. MARK S. DREIER 1950-1969

Funeral services were held Saturday, June 14, 1969 at 2:00 p.m. in St. Paul Lutheran Church, Postville, with the Rev. Curtis Webster and the Rev. Lenwood L. Monte officiating, for Pfc. Mark S. Dreier.

Mark S. Dreier, son of Herbert and Frances Erhardt Dreier was born in Postville, on April 20, 1950 and died in the service of his country on June 2, 1969 in Vietnam, at the age of 19 years, one month and 12 days. Mark received his education in the Postville Schools. On September 18, 1968 he entered the military service and on February 13, 1969 left the United States for duty in Vietnam.

Pfc. Dreier is survived by his parents; and three sisters: Ida (Mrs. Marvin Block) of Oxford; Mary (Mrs. Gerald Vagts) of West Union, and Pauline (Mrs. James Collins) also of Oxford, maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Dave Erhardt of Waukon; nephews, nieces, cousins and a host of friends.

Burial was in the Postville cemetery.
