Rites Held For Fred Dundee

Fred Dundee, son of Orrin and Ida Dundee, was born at Postville, March 28, 1898 and passed away at the University Hospital at Iowa City May 19, 1964.

Mr. Dundee was educated in the rural schools of this county and spent his entire life in this community. He was an employee of Allamakee county for many years, retiring the past year. He never married and made his home with his brother, Wally Dundee of Waukon.

Mr. Dundee is survived by three brothers, Lawrence and John of Postville and Wally of Waukon; also one sister, May, Mrs. Phillip Steffens, of Clermont. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Frank and William, and two sisters, Annie and Lillian.

Services were held Thursday, May 21, at 2:00 with Rev. Curtis H. Webster of the Forest Mills E. U. B. Church officiating. Burial was made in the Oakland Cemetery.
