Died of heart disease, at his residence in Franklin Township, on the 4th inst., Mr. Vine Dunning, after an illness of one week.
Another early settler and substantial citizen of our county has gone to his final rest, leaving behind a large family and wide circle of friends to mourn his loss. Mr. Dunning was a native of Vermont, but became a resident of this county sixteen years age, and was, at his death in the sixty-fifth year of his age. His many sociable and amiable qualities, together with intelligence and undeviating integrity endeared him to all with whom he became acquainted. The melancholy news of his decease falls most heavily upon those who knew him best. The community extends to the widow and children in their sad bereavement, the most heartfelt Sympathy; she has lost an affectionate husband, they an indulging father. The people of the vicinity and county realize that a most worthy citizen possessing the qualities of a good man, has been taken from their midst.
