Susanna V. Elsey

Was born April 22, 1849, in Monroe, Wis., and died in Waukon, Iowa, Aug. 24, 1900, aged 57 years, 4 months and 2 days. Her parents moved to Allamakee county, Iowa, the same year in which she was born. Here she lived until she was 32 years of age, then moved to Dakota where she was married to David G. Glenn. To this union were born 5 children, 3 daughters and two sons. She leaves husband, children, one sister and four brothers to mourn her loss.

The funeral was held from Bethel church, Sunday, Aug. 26th, conducted by Rev. R. M. Montgomery. Interment at Minert cemetery.
