Grace C. Gavin, 81, of Denver, Colorado, passed away on Thursday, October 22, 2015, at Rose Medical Center in Denver. She was born on December 9, 1933, in Harpers Ferry, Iowa, the daughter of Philip and Adeline (Boardman) Gavin. Grace was raised and educated in the Cedar Rapids area, graduating from Immaculate Conception High School.

Grace was employed as Secretary for the State of Colorado in the Department of Education for many years. She loved spending time with her sisters, nieces, and nephews, music, and dancing.

Survivors include her two sisters, Shirley (Leonard) Monaghan of Manchester, and Mary Lou (James) Meade of Iowa City; and nieces and nephews.

Grace was preceded in death by her parents.
