Rites for John A. Schulte, 81, residing on a farm near Dorchester, who died in a La Crosse hospital, following an operation were held Thursday morning at St. Mary's church, Dorchester. He was twice married. Surviving by the first marriage are the following children: John, Harpers Ferry; Mrs. T.C. Schwartzhoff, Caledonia, Minn.; Joseph and Andrew, Waukon; Henry, Dorchester. Five children also survive by the second marriage, all residing at distance points. There are 39 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
