Funeral services for Mrs. Anna Evenson, who spent her entire 86 years in Allamakee county were conducted Saturday morning at the Old East Paint Creek church, conducted by the Rev. A.P. Lea. Burial was in the adjoining cemetery. A daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ole Tweeten, she was born in Taylor township. Her marriage to Andrew Evenson took place in Old East Paint Creek church, Nov.15, 1884, and they settled on a farm in Taylor township where she resided until about 20 years ago when Waukon became her home. Surviving are four daughters and two sons, Mrs. Carl Kolsrud and Miss Al(?)a Evenson, Waukon; Mrs. Henry Ferring, Oscar and Helmer Evenson, residing on farms in this vicinity.
